Exploration used to favor the generalist. You had to know how to navigate, hunt, communicate, trade, fight and farm. However, we have become a world of specialists, with some skills seemingly better suited for exploration than others. Until now, the exploration of Mars and beyond has belonged to the scientists and engineers, who can design and direct the robots that have lead that trip. As we push toward the human journey to Mars, so many more skills will be needed. Pilots, doctors, farmers and maintenance and more will be needed. Made of Mars is designed to help bring our Journey to Mars to as many people as possible.
